    IDCiS stands for Independent Development Consulting in SAP® and is a sole-trader company that focuses primarily on independent and reliable (development) advice for companies using SAP® or planning to implement SAP®.

    My name is Arie Folkers and I’m originaly a SAP® certified Independent Development Consultant [SAP NetWeaver – ABAP Workbench] and the driving force behind IDCiS.

    In addition to extensive development knowledge and experience, I have accumulated more than 28 years of SAP® business experience within a variety of multinational organisations, including Unilever, Diversey, FrieslandCampina, Tyco and ForFarmers . This experience spans numerous SAP modules, such as SD, MM, PP/PI, FI/CO, LO/LE/WM, CO-PA and QM, as well as DMS, EP, XI/PI and MDM. I am also familiar with SAP’s more recent cloud-based solutions, including SAC, ALM, C4C, Fiori, SCPI and Hybris. My extensive knowledge of business processes, combined with broad project experience, can be of significant value to your organisation.

    Originally, my primary focus was on customer-specific developments and enhancements within SAP®, commonly referred to as ABAP development. Over time, however, I have evolved into a senior all-round IT professional, with a strong focus on management and advisory roles at both management team and C-suite level. Whether you require support for an existing SAP® or Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment, assistance with a new implementation, or reliable, independent, experience-based advice or a second opinion, you have come to the right place. Whether support is delivered in-house, nearshore or outsourced, I can assist you in designing, optimising and managing both the underlying processes and the supporting organisation.

    In recent years, I have also gained substantial hands-on experience in the fields of Cyber Security Management and Business Continuity Management.
